EclipseLink--High Performance Persistence for Spring

Performance, scalability, and flexibility are the top concerns of any Spring application. And with relational and XML persistence accounting for a significant portion of any enterprise application, performance of your persistence framework is critical. EclipseLink, the open source Eclipse Persistence Services project provides high performance and highly tunable implementations of a number of persistence standards including JPA, JAXB, and SDO. Using EclipseLink is simple thanks to Spring's support for open standards but why choose EclipseLink over another persistence framework? This session will introduce EclipseLink, show how it can be used with Spring, Spring-WS, and the SpringSource Application Platform, and demonstrate advanced features you just don't get out of the box with other frameworks including distributed cache coordination, native OSGi support, historical querying, and more.
